About This Project

By installing a 97.2kW floating solar system, we provided a valuable and eco-friendly solution for Concord Golf Course. This system not only generated enough electricity to power 24 average Australian households, but also saved the club $36,000 per year on their energy bills. Moreover, it reduced their carbon footprint by avoiding 126 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually, which is equivalent to taking 28 cars off the road. Furthermore, it recycled street water drainage for irrigation purposes, while preserving the available playing area. This innovative project also demonstrated the club’s commitment to environmental sustainability, as it was Sydney’s first floating solar system.
