About This Project
Burning Palms Surf Life Saving Club is dedicated to safeguarding life on Burning Palms beach, which is located in the Royal National Park. Accessible via a 2.5 km walking track from Garrawarra car park (near the turnoff to Garie Beach), this remote club faces unique challenges due to its isolated location. Due to the isolation, the club relies on the solar and battery system for their energy needs. We have supported Burning Palms for over 15 years. The solar and battery system gives them reliable power to run Surf Life Saving events and also power should emergencies arise.
