Need that extra level of protection for your solar system? WINAICO can provide the assurance you need to keep the solar power flowing and the electricity bills down. WINAICO modules operate with two policies to protect your system up to 25-years. The product warranty covers all modules to be product perfect from our factory and on your roof. The performance guarantee provides an assurance to the minimum amount of energy generated from your system. The combination of both warranties and our complimentary insurance policy ensures product perfection and performance for the lifetime of your WINAICO installation.
Out of 70MW of solar panels installed in Australia, only .01% have had a warranty claim made against them. We turn all warranty claims around within one week ensuring your system is back up and running as soon as possible. Know that our longevity is a key focus in our design and a massive benefit for you.
Product and Performance Warranty
Our 25-year product warranty protects all parts and labour to replace or repair any system components which are faulty by design or manufacture such as cells, junction boxes, glass and frames. We build our panels to be fully operational at delivery and our warranty terms are the legal extension of that ideals.
We were the first solar manufacturer in Australia to extend our product protection to 15 years. The recent extension is a further demonstration of our promise to perfecting our products for your peace of mind. Know that your solar systems are designed with performance and longevity in mind.
The linear performance warranty ensures that your WINAICO modules will generate a significant set volume of energy for up to 25 years. Solar panels degrade over their lifetime but we can assure you that you will still get the maximum energy you deserve with our performance guarantee.
(Update 1st February 2021) The New Gemini Range has been tested and proven to perform far greater than the industry standard over time. To reflect the improved quality, the Gemini Range will now include an industry-leading performance warranty for a solar module in Australia. The Gemini Range is guaranteed to drop a maximum of 2% of the total power within the first year and a linear trend of 0.53% year-on-year for the following 24 years. In comparison, the previous WINAICO performance warranty expected a 3% drop within the first year and a 0.7% year-on-year degradation for the following 24 years of technical operation. This upgrade means the Gemini Range is expected to perform at over 5% greater power after 25 years than our previous range of product and significantly beyond the Australian industry standard.

Product Warranty Extension
Our new 25-year Product Warranty is one of three protection policies in place to ensure your solar system will always be ready to perform. In collaboration with the 25-year Performance Guarantee and complimentary insurance policy, no other solar module in Australia provides this many layers of protection on your system. The extension to our the current protection that applies to all of our current range of modules. These include the all current WST and WSP Series from the 1st of July 2020.
The extension will add 10 years on top of the current 15-year product guarantee that is applied to our modules. Australian Consumer Law
While all solar systems these days come with legal protection, many Australian's have been stung to find out that warranties issued by foreign entities do not need to comply with Australian Consumer Law.
WINAICO's policies are backed by an Australian entity, so you are covered by Australian consumer law and backed up by a financially sound business that will be around for the long-term. Our latest extension to 25-years product warranty extension is a reflection of our promise to longevity as a business.
